  • 1968
The company was established by brothers Neal and Ron Trent
Pegasus, named after a British air squadron in the second world war, was originated as a process design and engineering company in high purity chemical solvents and acids.
  • Mid 1970’s
Pegasus purchased the Canadian process division of Corning Glassworks and carried on with all Corning and QVF’s glasswares from the UK, Germany, and the U.S
  • Early 1980’s
The glass industry began to grow, due to a need to supplement the laboratory side of the process production plants. Up until now these plants were focused on chemical, acid, and solvent processing.
At this time Pegasus felt the push to process larger products, so they had a large bell-top oven made.
This oven is still the largest of its kind in the entire industry.
